1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teasp. vanilla
2-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teasp. each:  baking powder, baking soda
1 cup crisp rice cereal
1 (5-oz) can La Choy Chow Mein Noodles
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Granulated sugar

Beat butter and sugars until creamy and fluffy.  Beat in eggs, one at a time.  Add vanilla and sifted dry ingredients.  Stir in cereal, noodles, raisins and walnuts.  Chill thoroughly.  Shape into 1-inch balls.  Roll in sugar.  Place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.  Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.  Cool on wire rack.
