Holiday Wreaths Recipe
This recipe is from an old cookbook, Kellogg Kitchens
Favorite Recipes Cookbook, Kellogg Company, 1991.
HOLIDAY WREATHS
1/2 cup margarine
1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows
1 teaspoon green food coloring
6 cups KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES cereal
Red cinnamon candies
1. Melt margarine and marshmallows in large saucepan
over low heat, stirring constantly until marshmallows melt
and mixture is syrupy. Remove from heat. Stir in
food coloring.
2. Add KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES cereal. Stir
until well coated.
3. Portion warm cereal mixture, using 1/4 cup
measure. Using buttered fingers, quickly shape into
individual wreaths. Dot with red cinnamon candies.
Yield: 16 wreaths
