CHEWY MOCHA KISSES

2 squares Baker's semi-sweet chocolate
1 teaspoon Maxwell House instant coffee
2 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup Baker's Angel Flake coconut
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or toasted almonds

Melt chocolate in saucepan over very low heat; stir in instant coffee.  Beat egg whites with salt until foamy throughout.  Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until mixture will form stiff shiny peaks. Beat in vinegar.  Fold in flour, coconut, nuts and chocolate mixture.  Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets.  Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

Note:  Total beating time is 10 minutes.

Makes 2-1/2 dozen.
