MCCALL'S COOKING SCHOOL RECIPE INDEX - VOLUME 3

McCall's RecipageBelow is a list of the Recipages that were included in the 3-volume McCall's Cooking School recipe binders.  These are the recipes found in the completed set of Volume 3.

Volume 3 contains the following recipe categories:  Pies, Pastry; Salads; Sauces; Soups; and Vegetables.

The term "Recipage" is how McCall's referred to the page inserts that came in the mail every month.  They are kind of a cross between a recipe card and a book page.  This term is seen in the back issues of McCall's Cookeryy.

Each Recipage measures 7-5/8 x 10 inches and is pre-punched with 3 holes along the left edge for easy insertion into the three ring binders.  The color photography of the food on each page is excellent.

This list should make it easier to find out if a recipe that you remember from the past from a McCall's cookbook is contained in this book.  If you are looking to replace only a lost or missing individual Recipage, the list will make it easier to locate.  This index can also help you decide if the cookbook has the type of recipes that you are looking for when contemplating purchasing the entire 3-volume set or just an individual volume.
