HOME COOKING WITH BORDEN PRODUCTS

The founder of the Borden Company was Gail Borden.  He patented his first successful product, Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, in 1856.  He opened the New York Condensed Milk Company in 1857.

The Dairy Division of Borden was headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.

Borden brand products included milk, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, canned egg nog, ReaLemon juice, ReaLime juice, cottage cheese, Starlac, sour cream, Old London melba toast, Lite-Line cheese, WISE potato chips, Wyler's bouillons, and None Such Mincemeat.
